on march 23, the ever given, one of the largest container ships in the world, was blown off course and got wedged across the suez canal, blocking a 10% of global trade

on march 24th, janie texted june the outline to a song about this very relatable boat and they spent the next day writing and recording it

on march 28th the boat got unstuck from the canal, but its still forever stuck in our hearts

Jack is a master of the sublte. Epic in scale and delicate in delivery, often turning emotions on a short sequence of notes. I wish they would embrace singing more as well because The Balad of Sister Rust and Tell Me are both incredible examples of their talent and ability. hazelforgotten
